Who We Are

Nathaniel, Idella, Elijah, Miranda

We are a family of four that was once broken by divorce. I (Nate) lived in rebellion against God, Idella was stretched thin, Elijah was out of control, and Miranda was at risk of getting lost in the mix. God rescued me from the darkness, restored our marriage, healed our family and set us free to love Him and love each other. Now the Lord has led us to work and serve as missionaries at Trails End Ranch.

Trail's End Ranch is a fully accredited, non-denomination, Christian camp nestled in the midst of Custer National Forest approximately five miles southeast of Ekalaka, MT. Situated on 720 acres, the camp has access to much of the national forest for biking, horseback riding, and hiking. The Mission of Trails End Ranch is “To present a year-round quality Christian Camping Center as an evangelistic force for Jesus Christ: developing and training well-balanced Christians as an arm of local gospel preaching churches."

Our work at Trails End Ranch will be primarily with the Horses. I will work as the Head Wrangler while Idella and the kids work alongside me. Our job will be to:

Proclaim the Gospel to campers, ministering the Father’s Love, Grace, and Truth to all we encounter.
Train, encourage, mentor, and counsel Barn Staff during the camping season.
Provide for the year-round daily care and maintenance of a herd of horses along with their saddles and tack.
Facilitate and lead trail rides for beginner to advanced riders through the Custer National Forest.
Identify the training needs of the horses and effectively implement corrective programs.
Serve to meet the needs of Trails End Ranch in whatever capacity we can serve, whether it be in the cooking in the kitchen or scrubbing bathrooms.

Our approach to this calling is to serve as a family. We all wish to be involved in the ministry of service and so we will spend our time learning and teaching, working and serving, and growing in Christ together.
